24 Teeny Tiny Animals for Whimsical End of Week Vibes

It's finally weekend, which means it's finally time for whimsical winter weekend scrolls. 

Weekends:  Saturdays and Sundays. It doesn't feel like enough, does it? Sure, you can add in a Friday night, or even a Thursday night if you're stretching it. But truthfully, we would all love a little longer time off. Alarm clocks, emails, responsibilities, and annoying coworkers can be too much. It feels like it's all at once, and by the time you inhale that fresh weekend air, you're already back to work Monday morning. Sunday night barely even counts as the weekend still! You're just up thinking about your work tomorrow, the impending annoyances, and the doom of going to work in the morning. There's a reason the word "Friday" feels lighter than "Monday." All the associations of the week and weekend come together in the nomenclature. The weekend represents freedom, a break from the structure, deadlines, and steady rhythm of responsibilities. Even if someone enjoys their job or school, there's something psychologically powerful about knowing a pause is coming. 

The weekend feels like it's claimed just for you. During the week, hours are often spoken for with other people's needs: meetings, assignments, errands, obligations. Saturday and Sunday are more for you, for your needs. You can sleep later and eat breakfast without rushing, or have breakfast at all. There's no obligation to fill the space either, you're more than welcome to do nothing at all simply because you want to. Plans with friends can be spontaneous, a movie night, game night, or alone night playing video games or scrolling. It can be as lazy and indulgent as you want it to be. 

Tiny whimsical animals are the best addition to the weekend. With their adorable, carefree countenances, and their ability to make you smile by just looking at them. They could fit in the palm of your hand, and for that you love them. They're so easy to scroll through, so easy to love, and so easy to pass the time with "ooos" and "ahhs" with how small they are! So enjoy the weekend in whatever way feels right, and remember that these tiny animals are just waiting for you to bestow your eyes on them.
